PCSE use a national courier network for transporting paper patient GP records, enabling records to be moved faster around the country with the additional functionality of being tracked via PCSE Online.
Medical records are transported in secure bags directly from one GP practice to another, unless the patient is unregistered or deceased. In this instance deceased patient records no longer need to be printed and sent to PCSE. However, PCSE will still continue to collect any legacy paper Lloyd George records.
